Competition categories and themes

So that everyone can get involved, there are five categories and two competition themes that will determine how your entry will be judged.

The five categories to enter are:

  1. Primary School Children (12 years old & under);
  2. Secondary School (13 to 18 years of age);
  3. Individuals (19 to 69 years of age);
  4. Individuals aged 70 and up; and
  5. Groups (Community groups, schools, businesses, associations)

Within each category, you may select either competition theme:

  • Queen of Hearts – The Queen of Hearts expects perfection, or it’s OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!
    • Our judges will be looking at the technical perfection of your entry.
  • Mad Hatters – Be creative; look strange, go bonkers. We are all completely MAD here!
    • Our judges will be looking for creativity over technical perfection.
